This policy covers cookies and similar storage technologies used by Woldy ("we") on woldy.xyz and the merchant dashboard.

1. The short version

woldy.xyz — this marketing site — sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser's storage. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers, no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

We would rather say that plainly than publish a long table of cookies we do not actually use.

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser so it can recognize the browser on a later visit. Related technologies — localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixels — do a similar job. Where this policy says "cookies" it means all of them.

3. What this site uses

CategoryUsed hereNotes
Strictly necessaryNoThe site is static; there is no session to keep
PreferencesNoNothing is remembered between visits
AnalyticsNoWe do not measure individual visitors
Advertising / trackingNoWe run none, and we do not sell data to anyone who does

Fonts are served from our own domain, so no third party learns you visited by loading them.

4. What the merchant dashboard uses

The dashboard at merchant.woldy.xyz is a separate application and does need cookies to work — principally a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a security cookie that protects against cross-site request forgery.

Those are strictly necessary: without them you cannot log in, so they are set when you sign in rather than asked about. Blocking them will prevent the dashboard from working. The dashboard's own notice describes them in detail.

5. Third-party content

We do not embed third-party video, social widgets, comment systems, or advertising on this site, so no third party is in a position to set a cookie through it.

Following an external link — to our documentation, LinkedIn, or X — takes you to a site with its own policy, which we do not control.

6. Managing cookies

Because this site sets none, there is nothing to switch off here. For the dashboard, or for the web generally, every major browser lets you view and delete cookies and block them by site. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sites that depend on them, including the dashboard.

7. If this changes

If we introduce analytics or any non-essential cookie, we will:

  1. update this page and the date at the top of it,
  2. put a consent banner in place before any such cookie is set, and
  3. keep the site fully usable if you decline.

We will not start tracking quietly and describe it afterwards.
